“… and you will always be songs” is a compilation of three exclusive tracks by three different Calgary based artists.
While being intended as a “thank you” gift for supporters of the “Fragments” events, founded by Chris Tenz, as well as Mini50records, the quality of these tracks should not be overlooked.
All three artists are releasing solo albums over the autumn/winter 2011, and all were featured musicians at “Fragments – a multi-arts gala” on October 6th, 2011 in Calgary, Canada.
All the albums, as well as these three tracks, were recorded, produced, and occasionally accompanied by Chris Tenz himself, but the connections between these songs goes much deeper than that.
While different in style and delivery from one another, and even from the albums released by the artists themselves, there is a raw, honest, and intimate quality linking them together.
Also to be noted is the artwork, an original piece done by Ricky Fraser, kindly donated for the release. A full wallpaper version of the piece is included with download.
Much can be said about the tracks themselves, but rather than going into detail, it was mutually decided that this mini-compilation should speak for itself. So on behalf of Fragments Calgary, Mini50records, Nicolas Field, Chris Tenz, Ricky Fraser, and Joel Learoyd, we hope you enjoy this release as a thank you for all the support.

“Nicolas Field - This Is A Long Conversation For Someone With Nothing To Talk About” will be released in December, 2011
