‘Frozen Arms’ is his debut album released on mini50 records on 5 December 2011.
‘Frozen Arms’ communicates themes of loss, regret and impending death mixing brutally honest lyricism and sweet, spider-like melodies crossing from the harsh light of reality into the blurred lines of fiction. Tales told in a whispering voice set against panoramic soundscapes.
Fully written, produced and mastered by Tenz himself, ‘Frozen Arms’ is a dense, yet subtle piece of music showing maturity beyond his young years.
The record is available as both a cd and digital download from the mini50 bandcamp page.
THE PRESS SAY:
"The good news is that the execution of these knowingly down-trodden compositions is excellent. Tenz’s voice isn’t in any way exceptional but his lyricism is refreshingly down to earth and his use of simple warm acoustic guitars against a backdrop of synth ambience and field recordings creates what can only be described as an inviting sound. Microphones/Mt. Eerie springs to mind as a fair comparison and is the only thing jumping into my head right now." - Norman Records
